About This Calculator
The Furniture Quantity Calculator helps interior designers, contractors, and quantity surveyors estimate FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) requirements for commercial and hospitality projects across the UAE and Gulf. Choose a space type (open or private office, conference, reception, hotel room, 1- or 2-bed apartment), enter the area and number of people, rooms or units, and get item quantities from standard ratios.

Typical Scenarios in UAE & Gulf Projects
A 1,000 m² open-plan floor for 100 staff (10 m² per person). The calculator gives 100 workstation desks, 100 office chairs, 100 mobile pedestals, 10 six-person meeting tables, 25 filing cabinets and 30 visitor chairs: 365 items, with a suggestion to add common areas and storage for an office this size.
