- Fill in the header, including the practical completion date and when the defects liability period ends, as stated in your contract.
- List every closeout item your contract and the local authorities require, choosing a category for each.
- Assign each item to one responsible person with a due date.
- As items are completed, enter the date and reference the evidence, such as the signed certificate or document.
- Review the list with the client or consultant representative and sign when all items are complete or marked not applicable.
Do this without spreadsheets: Arkan Punch List
Arkan's Punch List module tracks outstanding items by location and responsible party until each one is closed, which helps with the snagging part of closeout.
- Location, trade, priority and due date on every item
- Photos, company and assignee
- Items can only be closed once resolved
