We're excited to announce the Arkan Winter 2024 release, packed with features our customers have been asking for. This update focuses on three key areas: mobile productivity, intelligent search, and workflow automation.
Enhanced Mobile App
Our completely redesigned mobile app brings the full power of Arkan to your smartphone and tablet:
Offline Mode Work without an internet connection. Documents, drawings, and forms sync automatically when you're back online. Perfect for sites with spotty connectivity.
Camera Integration Capture photos directly into RFIs, daily reports, and punch lists. Automatic geotagging and timestamps provide complete context.
Voice Notes Record voice memos that are automatically transcribed and attached to relevant items. Great for quick observations while walking the site.
Push Notifications Stay informed with smart notifications for approvals needed, mentions, and deadline reminders. Customizable so you only see what matters.
AI-Powered Search
Finding information just got much easier:
Natural Language Search Ask questions like "show me all rejected submittals from last month" and get instant results. No more hunting through folders.
Smart Suggestions As you type, Arkan suggests relevant documents based on your role, recent activity, and project context.
Cross-Project Search Search across all your projects at once to find similar issues, specifications, or documents from past work.
Workflow Automation 2.0
Take your workflows to the next level:
Conditional Logic Build workflows that adapt based on conditions. Route high-value change orders to different approvers, or escalate overdue items automatically.
Parallel Approvals When multiple parties need to approve, let them work simultaneously instead of waiting in sequence.

Drawing Comparison Tool Overlay two drawing revisions to instantly see what changed. Differences are highlighted automatically.

Bulk Operations Select multiple items and apply actions in bulk—move, tag, assign, or update status for dozens of items at once.

Getting the Update
The Winter 2024 release is rolling out now. Most features will be available automatically over the next two weeks. Enterprise customers can contact their account manager to schedule the update.
