- •Cover is measured to the nearest reinforcement surface
- •Add tolerance of +10mm for cast against ground
- •For fire resistance, cover may need to be increased
- •Minimum cover ≥ bar diameter for bond
- •Consider aggregate size (cover ≥ max aggregate + 5mm)
